Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in Commonwealth Economic Summit @ Davos 2027 ("the Event"), organised by the Commonwealth Businesswomen's Network (CBWN) and the UK-Pakistan Trade & Investment Board (UPTIB) ("the Organisers"). By registering for, attending, sponsoring, partnering with, exhibiting at, or participating in the Event, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

The purpose of the Event is to provide a platform for:

• International trade promotion
• Investment discussions
• Business networking
• Government engagement
• Knowledge exchange
• Strategic partnerships

• Event Name: Commonwealth Economic Summit @ Davos 2027
• Dates: 19–21 January 2027 (Day 1 in Zurich, Days 2–3 in Davos, during Davos Week)
• Location: Zurich (Day 1) and Davos, Switzerland (Days 2–3)
• Format: International business, investment and networking platform held during Davos Week.

Registration Requirements

All participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration. Participants may include government representatives, investors, corporate executives, business leaders, entrepreneurs, media representatives and strategic partners.

Approval of Participation

The Organisers reserve the right to review and approve registrations to maintain professional standards, event quality, strategic alignment and appropriate representation. Registration confirmation is subject to approval.

Delegate Responsibilities

Participants are responsible for ensuring accurate registration information, valid travel documentation, appropriate insurance coverage, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The Organisers reserve the right to modify speakers, sessions, timings, venue arrangements, programme content and participating organisations. Changes may occur due to circumstances beyond the Organisers' control; the Organisers will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes.

Where applicable, participants agree to pay registration fees, sponsorship fees, partnership fees, exhibition fees and additional service charges. Payment terms will be specified in the relevant registration form, sponsorship agreement or partnership contract. Failure to make payments may result in cancellation of participation, withdrawal of benefits, or loss of reserved opportunities.

Sponsors and partners agree to provide accurate company information, follow event branding guidelines, fulfil agreed partnership obligations, and maintain professional standards. The Organisers will provide agreed benefits according to the applicable sponsorship or partnership agreement.

Government and country pavilion participants are responsible for the accuracy of information presented, compliance with applicable regulations, management of displayed materials, and coordination of official delegations. The Organisers provide a platform for showcasing opportunities but do not endorse specific investment projects or commercial offers.

The Business Matchmaking Programme is designed to facilitate introductions between participants. Participants acknowledge that meetings do not guarantee business agreements, investment decisions remain the responsibility of participants, participants must conduct their own due diligence, and the Organisers are not responsible for commercial outcomes.

All Event materials, including logos, branding, website content, publications, marketing materials and programme documents, remain the intellectual property of the Organisers unless otherwise stated. No material may be reproduced, distributed or commercially used without prior permission.

By attending the Event, participants acknowledge that photography, video recording and media coverage may take place. The Organisers may use event images, recordings and content for event promotion, communications, marketing and future events. Participants who do not wish to appear in official media should notify the Organisers in advance.

All participants must maintain professional conduct. Participants must not:

• Engage in harassment or discrimination
• Disrupt event activities
• Misrepresent their organisation
• Share confidential information without permission
• Engage in unlawful activities

The Organisers reserve the right to remove participants who violate these standards.

Participants are responsible for protecting confidential information obtained through meetings, networking sessions, business discussions and investor engagements. The Organisers are not responsible for confidentiality agreements between participants.

Participants are responsible for visa applications, travel arrangements, accommodation bookings and personal expenses. The Organisers may provide supporting documents where appropriate but cannot guarantee visa approval.

The Organisers are not responsible for:

• Travel disruption
• Visa refusal
• Personal expenses
• Business decisions made by participants
• Commercial outcomes from meetings
• Actions of third-party participants

Participation is undertaken at the participant's own risk.

The Organisers shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, security issues, public health emergencies, transportation disruption and other unforeseen events.

Cancellation and refund terms will depend on the participant category and applicable agreement. Specific terms will apply to delegate registration, sponsorship packages, country pavilion packages and partnership agreements.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by applicable laws relevant to the Organisers and Event jurisdiction. Any disputes shall be subject to appropriate legal procedures and applicable jurisdiction.

Accredited media representatives agree to:

• Provide accurate reporting
• Respect confidentiality
• Follow photography and recording guidelines
• Respect speaker and delegate privacy

Commonwealth Economic Summit @ Davos 2027 provides a platform for dialogue, networking and business engagement. Participation does not guarantee:

• Investment outcomes
• Commercial agreements
• Government approvals
• Business partnerships

All participants are responsible for their own due diligence and decisions.
