Eligibility Review

The Awards Secretariat reviews eligibility requirements, submission completeness and supporting evidence.

Step 3

Expert Evaluation

Shortlisted nominations are reviewed by an independent judging panel of business leaders, investors, academics, industry experts and government representatives.

What is the Commonwealth Global Excellence Awards 2027?

An international recognition programme celebrating outstanding achievements by businesses, leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, creative professionals and organisations creating measurable impact across Commonwealth nations and global markets, presented during the Commonwealth Economic Summit @ Davos 2027.

Who can nominate?

Nominations are open to companies, organisations, government institutions, investment organisations, industry associations, chambers of commerce, universities, individuals and professional networks. Self-nominations are also accepted.

Can organisations outside the Commonwealth participate?

Yes. While the Awards celebrate Commonwealth connections, nominations are open globally to organisations and individuals who demonstrate excellence, innovation, collaboration or impact linked to international markets.

Can a startup apply?

Yes, through categories including Startup of the Year, Innovation Excellence, the Emerging CEO Award and the Technology & Innovation Awards.

Can one organisation be nominated for multiple categories?

Yes, provided it meets the eligibility requirements for each. Separate submissions may be required per category.

How do I submit a nomination?

Select an award category, complete the nomination details, provide achievement information, upload supporting documents and submit the application through the Awards nomination form.

Is there a nomination fee?

Nomination fees and category-specific participation details will be announced through the official Awards portal. Special arrangements may apply for government nominations, strategic partners and industry associations.

Who evaluates the nominations?

An independent Jury Panel drawn from business, investment, government, technology, academia, sustainability and the creative industries, following the weighted Evaluation Framework.

What is included in the Awards Ceremony?

A VIP reception, the Gala Dinner, the Awards presentation, cultural performances celebrating Commonwealth diversity, the Commonwealth Fashion & Creative Showcase, brand launches and executive networking.

Can I attend without being nominated?

Yes — VIP guests, corporate delegates, sponsors, partners, government representatives and accredited media may all attend through the Gala Dinner's approved registration categories.
